About the Camp
Camp Rainbow started in Chennai in 2011 in partnership with Y.R. Gaitonde Medical, Educational, and Research Foundation. Starting with two residential camp sessions in 2011, Camp Rainbow has now grown to bring camp sessions and capacity building workshops for youth-serving adults to 10 different states in India.
Known for colorful rangoli (sand art) designs, the ‘Dosa Song,’ and biryani at celebration dinners, Camp Rainbow delivers memorable sights, sounds, and flavors while children build confidence and develop healthy habits for living with HIV and cancer.
