Explore the experiences created by our global network of camps and programs that inspire joy and belonging for children with serious medical conditions and their families.
In the face of COVID-19, SeriousFun Children’s Network continues to innovate and support our campers and families. Discover how we’re adapting to stay connected and keep the spirit of camp alive.
Providing a medically safe environment for all campers, families, volunteers, and staff of SeriousFun Children’s Network is always our top priority. To that end, we’re monitoring the evolving situation around COVID-19 daily.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic — and in accordance with the guidance of global health organizations, and local and national experts — SeriousFun camps and programs around the world have made the decision to suspend on-site and in-person summer camp and outreach sessions for children with serious illnesses and their families. While we are disappointed that we cannot welcome children, families, and volunteers to our camps this year, putting health and safety first was not simply a decision — it is our purpose and mandate.
But turning lemons into lemonade is what we do best at SeriousFun. In the spirit of our intrepid founder, Paul Newman, the suspension of camp sessions does not signal the interruption of our commitment to campers and families, but an opportunity to identify innovative and safe ways to connect with and support you.
Across the Network, our camps and programs are creating inventive and meaningful ways to connect with and support our campers and their families during this troubling time. Thank you for your continued support of the SeriousFun mission and we wish you health and safety during these uncertain and stressful times. We’ll continue sharing content on our digital channels in hopes of sparking joy around your virtual campfires. And we are especially grateful for you, our camp family, as we move forward together.
