Josef Newgarden’s Celebrity Ping Pong Tournament to Benefit SeriousFun
Did you hear? Two-time NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion and friend of SeriousFun, Josef Newgarden, is going all in to support camp this August!
Back in 2018, Josef launched his first Celebrity Ping-Pong Challenge to benefit SeriousFun Children’s Network. This year, the third Celebrity Ping Pong Challenge will be headed to Nashville—Newgarden’s hometown—as INDYCAR holds its first-ever Music City Grand Prix. Joining Josef, racecar drivers James Hinchcliffe and 2020 Indianapolis 500 Winner Hélio Castroneves, as well as several country music singers, will be getting in on the challenge on August 5, 2021.
A huge thank you to POWERHOME SOLAR, a leading provider of solar panel installation and energy efficiency services operating in 15 states across the U.S., who is proud to be the presenting sponsor of this year’s tournament. “Giving back and helping children has always been a big part of POWERHOME SOLAR’s mission by making a difference in communities across the country,” said POWERHOME SOLAR CEO Jayson Waller. “Joining Josef to support SeriousFun for this exciting event is a match for us in both passion and purpose.”
Generous sponsors of this year’s tournament also include our friends at The Rite Aid Foundation, Firestone, Hitachi, Built By Brian Inc., and INDYCAR. Thank you Josef—and every sponsor, donor, and ping pong player—for your support of our mission. You’re making a difference in the lives of kids living with serious medical conditions and their families around the globe!
