Camp Addis serves orphans and vulnerable children living with HIV. Highlights of the camp sessions include: a talk show about living with HIV; a crazy costume photo shoot; daily sports; arts and crafts; and a special banquet dinner and awards ceremony on the final night of camp. Camp Addis is operated through a partnership between SeriousFun and Worldwide Orphans Foundation.
Housed in a fairytale castle in the foothills of the Wicklow Mountains, camp welcomes children from Ireland and more than 12 European countries. The Therapeutic Recreation model responds directly to clinical and psychological needs of campers with activities designed for challenge, success, reflection and discovery. Children leave the accessible facilities with newfound confidence and hope.
The camp is nestled on 232 acres of beautiful wooded land in the Seminole State Forest. It was built in a Florida Cracker-style, using the early settler’s style of wood framed houses, metal roofs, and large wrap around porches to create a historic feel. Special camper moments include trail rides on horseback, receiving handmade bears and trying to catch and kiss the lake’s largest fish.
Bátor Tábor is a world tucked away by gracious meadows and frolicking forests. Located in Hatvan, it is home to a ropes course, rowing lake, archery field, riding hall and turf field designed to meet campers' medical needs. It serves nearly 1,000 kids and families annually from Hungary, Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia, also offering Bereavement Camp, hospital outreach and English sessions.
At Camp Colors of Love, held outside of Ho Chi Minh City, children with serious illnesses have the chance to camp in platform tents, splash on slip and slides, paddle in canoes and enjoy a festival night. Camp Colors of Love is operated through a partnership between SeriousFun and the Worldwide Orphans Foundation.
Double H Ranch, which stands for Health and Happiness, is located in New York’s scenic Adirondack Mountains. It sits on 320 beautifully wooded acres that include the fish-friendly Lake Vanare. Camp serves children and family members through summer residential camp, family-based programs and a unique winter adaptive ski program—experts make it work for every kid who wants a ride down the mountain!
Located in the midst of a World Wildlife Foundation Reserve in the heart of Tuscany, Dynamo Camp is the first camp in Italy for children with serious illnesses. Its dining hall, theater, gymnasium and medical center boast colorful, bio-architecture. Program activities of climbing, radio, horseback riding, writing, archery, team building and nature games strive to foster friendship and support.
Walking through the doors of a 100-year-old restored red barn, you will find a place where children with serious illnesses go to experience the magic of camp. The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp provides “a different kind of healing”® to seriously ill children and their families across the Northeast. Summer and weekend programs at its Ashford, Conn. facility offer activities adjusted to accommodate camper physical and medical needs, while Hospital Outreach and Family Outreach programs bring Camp fun and friendship to hospitals and camper hometowns year-round.
At the University of Botswana, the campus overflows with the songs, spirit, creativity and warmth of camp. Camp Hope is operated in partnership with the Botswana-Baylor Children’s Clinical Center of Excellence, marking our fifth partnership with Baylor clinics. Located in the capital of Gabarone, camp takes place during the university's winter break.
Camp Hope is held near the capital city of Lilongwe. Camp activities focus on positive living—addressing issues of adherence, stigma and discrimination, relationships, nutrition, and hygiene. There's no shortage of campfires, team building and crafts to share. Camp Hope operates through a partnership between SeriousFun, World Camp Inc., and Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation Malawi.
Located high above the Sea of Galilee on 61 acres of gently sloping land, the camp is the first year-round, permanent site in the Middle East designed for children with serious illnesses and special needs. The fully accessible site serves Jewish, Muslim and Christian children from Israel and neighboring countries—offering opportunities for campers and families to “celebrate life.”
Kan Etwal, or “Camp of Stars,” is a shining experience for children living with HIV. Campers sing “Pran medikaman’m” as they receive their medication, take part in nightly “Coeur a Coeur” (Heart-to-Heart) cabin chats and transform recyclables into handcrafted jewelry near Kenscoff. It is operated through a partnership between SeriousFun, Worldwide Orphans Foundation and Saint Damien Hospital.
Camp Korey, located on its new 200-acre property in Mt. Vernon, WA, offers children living with serious illness and their families an escape from the endless medical treatments that often overshadow childhood. Campers grow stronger, braver, and build leadership skills that they take into their everyday lives. Following a challenge by choice model, Camp Korey programs are created to be accessible and adaptable for all, always free of charge. This inclusive environment fosters a sense of pride, accomplishment and independence. During construction of our new camp property, we are continuing to serve our campers and their families with new and exciting programs; Family Day Adventures, special events and home visits.
Camp Lotus is held at the New Hope for Cambodian Children (NHCC) Village near Phnom Pen. It provides residential camp opportunities to children living with HIV and AIDS. The NHCC Village is an idyllic setting for camp – complete with clusters of cottages surrounding a community kitchen and basketball court. Camp Lotus operates through a partnership between SeriousFun and NHCC.
L'ENVOL, French for “take off," has served more than 7,000 children since 1997. It gained national recognition in 2001 when former President of France, Jacques Chirac visited. Progams at L'ENVOL are designed and delivered with specially trained camp staff, who provide 24-hour care to each child. All activities embrace the camp motto, “I am capable, I can do it, and I can overcome my fears!”
Located on a 105 acres in southeastern Michigan and surrounded by three pristine lakes, wetlands, rolling hills and towering trees, the camp serve the Great Lakes Region. It features a state-of-the-art health center staffed by nurses, physicians and other medical professionals, including specialists recruited from 13 partnering hospitals throughout Michigan and the Chicago area.

The Painted Turtle offers children with serious medical conditions and their families a unique camp experience designed to foster personal growth and exploration. You'll find camp in a highland valley framed by rolling green mountains on the outskirts of Mbeya, Tanzania. HIV positive children have the opportunity to build connections through nightly “Ala za Roho” (sounds for the heart and soul) cabin chats; explore creativity through design; and build hope. It is operated through a partnership between SeriousFun and Baylor Children’s Foundation Tanzania.
Sanyuka Camp focuses on healthy living and building self-esteem. Highlights include: a field trip to the Entebbe Wildlife Refuge; daily swim lessons; music, dance and drumming; a cooking session; and an exciting game of capture the flag game, camper versus counselor style. Sanyuka Camp is operated through a partnership between SeriousFun and Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation Uganda.
Set on a university campus in Eswatini's capital of Mbabane, Sibancobi Camp is a place for children to dream big. Sibancobi, meaning ‘we are conquerors,’ gives children living with HIV the hope and strength to conquer the difficult days and stigma of their condition via residential camp and Teen Club. It is operated in partnership with SeriousFun and Baylor Pediatric AIDS Initiative in Swaziland.
A sivivane is a carefully stacked pile of stones, which in Eswatini, indicates a place of safety or a refuge on a long journey. Sivivane Camp is just this for the children it serves, weaving this theme into its program with continuous care to embody safety, love and respect. It is operated through a partnership between SeriousFun, Young Heroes and the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
At a specially-built facility, Solaputi Kids' Camp strives to improve the quality of life for children and their families facing serious illness by addressing emotional and spiritual needs. With the support of the nearby Takikawa Municipanl Hospital, kids can experience the joy of nature, hope and new friendships through experiential activity programs in a relaxed and safe environment.
Victory Junction is built on 84 delightful acres of rolling fields surrounded by hardwood trees. Themed around NASCAR racing, the camp echoes the sights, sounds and feel of a real racetrack.
